Let's do something different...read a book?

Ok, so this blog is here help all of us keep on task with a book a month goal. Were are just a group of friends who want to try to read a book a month, but anyone is welcome to follow along.

Here are our rules:

  1. Each person must pick a book they wish to share with everyone else. Post in the comment your book selection

  2. The books will go into a poll on the page. Each person may vote for the book they wish to read for the current month. You cannot vote for the book you selected.

  3. Once a book is selected, you have until the end of the month to finish that book. I'll probably make a post about the book we read and anyone can leave a comment on what they thought about it.

Guidelines for book selection:
  • It can't be a book from the middle of a series unless we have read the previous book in the series already

  • For the first few months, try to limit your book to something that is a bit easier reading, until everyone is able to handle longer and more complicated books. Try to pick a book that you think everyone would enjoy, not something you just want to force other people to read

  • The book must be available on Amazon Kindle store

  • Harry Potter and Twilight books are forbidden

That should be about it. Feel free to share this blog with anyone who might be interested in reading books often and following along with other people reading the same book.

Hopefully the book can be selected within the first week of each month to give everyone enough time to finish.

Thanks and have fun

  6. Wells..did you read my post with the guidelines?
First it's the second book in a trilogy. Unless the books have nothing to do with each other, you can't pick something in the middle of a series.

Also..Ghostrider One is only available in paperback..defeats the purpose of a kindle.
